BIOS (Basic Input Output System) is a system firmware or you may call it a utility that allows user to directly change hardware settings to make a PC run according to your needs. Back in the day, BIOS setups were simple and allowed basic functions such as Boot device selection and hardware information. But now motherboard manufacturers have started shipping more advanced chipset containing refined BIOS. Now you can overclock your PC, use mouse on it, control cooling system and much more.
