Finally, Google has started rolling out Android KitKat 4.4 update (build no. KRT16S) to Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 owners. The over-the-air is available for both 1st and 2nd generation Nexus 7 tablets. The update supports all WiFI, HSPA+ and LTE models, its sized around ~300 MB and require WiFi connection to download.

How to get Andorid 4.4 KitKat on your Nexus Device
- Make sure you are connected to stable WiFi internet connection.
- Now pick up your Nexus device very gently.
- On the right top corner (where the rear/front camera is) you will see a 1 centimeter power-button. Press it once to activate the device.
- When the screen illuminates, swipe your index finger on it to unlock the device.
- Now you will see a battery icon on the right top corner of the screen, swipe it down and click Settings.
- After opening settings menu, scroll all the way to the bottom and tap About Tablet and then tap Software Update
- You will see a rectangular button that will initiate the glorious chocolate flavored update to Android 4.4 operating system.
Or, If you are an advanced user, you can manually flash the KitKat 4.4 roms using Android SDK
